In the Chinese sturgeon breeding base of Chenzhou Zichen Fishery Development Co., Ltd., the clear mountain spring water flows into the breeding pool, and the company’s leader Zeng Xizhu is busy feeding the sturgeon.

 

 

Zeng Xizhu said that the mountain spring water here meets the high-quality water quality requirements of sturgeon farming, which is a unique regional advantage for the development of sturgeon breeding industry.

 

The good water quality and superior environment of the village make sturgeons tender and delicious, which are favored by many merchants. The base implements production-based marketing to ensure the production and sales of sturgeons. 

 

 

The base covers an area of about 10,000 square meters and has 40 breeding ponds. 

 

Currently, the base has 100,000 Chinese sturgeons. Calculated at the current market price of 50 yuan per kilogram, the output value will reach 12 million yuan. 

 

 

With the improvement of the benefits at the sturgeon breeding base, it has also helped increase farmers’ income in the village.
