Characteristic agricultural products attract many consumers

The “Chenpin Chenwei” market was held at the Shazhou Folk Square in Shazhou Village, Rucheng County from October 22 to 24, with various characteristic agricultural products like Qifengdu fish rice noodles, Dongjiang fish, Linwu duck, and Heping tofu on display, attracting many consumers.
“Acorn tofu has a smooth and refreshing taste, and can be cold mixed or stir fried. It is a specialty food of Yizhang County,” said Zeng Yilu, an exhibitor from Yizhang County at the booth area, who was promoting his specialty agricultural and sideline products to tourists.
“There is ecological rice, acorn tofu, glutinous rice cake with fern roots, and other agricultural and sideline products from Yizhang County on sales. These products are very popular in the market, and more than 100 boxes of acorn tofu have been sold this morning,” said Zeng Yilu.
There were two “Chenpin Chenwei” regional brand image exhibition areas and 12 county-level exhibition areas at the Shazhou Folk Square in Shazhou Village in the market.
The event aimed to promote Chenzhou’s famous and special agricultural products and food culture, and let present visitors to experience the highlights of Chenzhou’s agricultural development and “Chenpin Chenwei” brand through immersive experiences.
