‘Chenpin Chenwei’ Brand Marketing Center opens in Changsha

The “Chenpin Chenwei” Brand Marketing Center opened in Taiping Street, Changsha City on December 15. There are such Chenzhou products as Yongxing Bingtang Orange, Yizhang Navel Orange and Linwu Duck, attracting many consumers to purchase. Among them, Chenzhou citrus and other agricultural products were sold well both online and offline.

After the “Chenpin Chenwei” regional public brand was established in 2021, many high-quality agricultural products like Qifengdu fish rice noodles, Linwu duck and Yongxing Bingtang orange have been popular with customers. 
 
To further promote Chenzhou agricultural products to more places, a brand promotion area is set up at the center to comprehensively present the brand story, product features, development history and others through pictures, texts and physical displays.
 
At the same time, there are also various online platforms and shopping malls available to promote sales of Chenzhou’s agricultural products and enhance its popularity.

In addition, based on the seasonal characteristics of agricultural products and peak market demand periods, the city government will hold 12 on-site promotion events every year to expand the brand awareness of “Chenpin Chenwei”.
 
On that day, Chenzhou Citrus Promotion Event kicked off in Taiping Old Street, where 123 types of agricultural products from 53 agricultural enterprises were showcased. 
 
The achievements made in the industrialization of Chenzhou citrus were showcased through multiple ways like citrus tasting, interactive games and promotional videos, allowing citizens and tourists to experience the unique charm of Chenzhou citrus.

Chenzhou is located at the core area of southern Jiangxi, southern Hunan and northern Guangxi, with a citrus planting area of about 1 million mu (66,666.67 hectares), accounting for over 60% of the total fruit planting area. The annual output of citrus exceeds 800,000 tons. 
 
Dongjiang Honey Orange has been rated as a national famous fruit regional public brand. Yongxing Bingtang Orange is a well-known trademark in China and one of China’s top ten famous oranges. Yizhang Navel Orange has been selected as a national famous and excellent agricultural product. Linwu pomelo won a gold medal in the national pomelo evaluation.

In recent years, the city government has focused on developing four billion-yuan industries of vegetable, citrus, tea and pig, as well as two traditional agricultural pillar industries of grain and tobacco, and promoting adjustment of the agricultural industrial structure. A total of 16 regional public brands of agricultural products like Linwu duck and Rucheng pod pepper have been cultivated. The number of authorized enterprises for “Xiangganhong”, “Xiangjiangyuan” vegetable, “Chenzhou blessed tea” reached 40, 57 and 34 respectively. 
 
A total of 238 “vegetable basket” bases for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area have been built in Chenzhou, topping prefecture-level cities in China.
