As of now, 10 primary and secondary schools have launched dragon and lion dance and martial arts classes with over 200 class hours, and about 10,000 students have participated in martial arts sports.  

 

In the promotion activity, the Sunshine Sports Coach Team of Chenzhou City brought 156 martial arts projects including dragon dance, 24 Seasons Drums, Tai Chi and art of fencing into schools. It has also conducted different martial arts courses for students with different ages. 

 

 

Guided by professional coaches, the students learned the basic movements and techniques of dragon and lion dance, and experienced the sports project that integrates martial arts, dance, music, and skills. 

 

These activities can help students enhance physical fitness and strengthen their willpower. It can also increase students’ understanding of and respect for traditional culture. 

 

 

In the future, Wushu will be carried out in primary, and secondary schools in Chenzhou City.
