Villagers were busy building the greenhouse for the new vegetable base in Dakuishang Village of Wugaishan Town, Chenzhou City on January 10. 

 

 

 

The vegetable base has a detached steel frame greenhouse of 4,800 square meters. Once completed, it will be used for vegetable picking, seedling cultivation, with  various vegetables and fruits like celery, chili and cherry to be planted. 

 

In recent years, the town government has actively adjusted its agricultural industrial structure and encouraged villagers to develop characteristic planting and breeding industries.

 

 

Based on characteristic agriculture like passion fruit and ginger, a diversified industrial pattern has been gradually taking shape, which will inject strong impetus into rural revitalization. 

 

Next, it will continue to encourage villagers to develop planting and breeding industries, guide farmers to develop from traditional agriculture to characteristic agriculture, vigorously advance the “greenhouse economy”. 

 

 

It will also seek for funds from superior departments and attract investment to make the best of local resources and idle land.
