The aerial photos taken on January 14 show the large copper coin sculpture with the inscription “kai yuan tong bao” (開元通寶) on one side and the Chinese character “gui” (桂) on the reverse side.

With a diameter of 24 meters and a thickness of 4.2 meters, it is the largest copper coin sculpture in China. It’s located in the Baoshan National Mining Park of Guiyang County. The park is a 4A-level scenic area, known as the “most magical treasure exploration journey in China” and the “textbook of China’s millennium mining history”.
