The Guiyang Industrial Park Nonferrous Metal Smelting and Professing project is the only specialized nonferrous metal smelting and processing park in Hunan province. 

 

Relying on automated comprehensive recycling production lines, Hunan Kangze Environmental Protection Technology in the park decomposes waste batteries into plastic, lead paste and lead grids, improving its efficiency through advanced processing technology. 

 

It also further stimulates new industrial momentum and accelerates the green transformation and upgrading of the non-ferrous metal industry. The comprehensive recycling rate of waste lead-acid batteries reaches 100%, and the lead recovery rate is as high as 99.5%.

 

On the precious metal production line of Hunan Better Gold Metal Smelting Company, workers are carrying out processes such as purification, melting, and casting of gold materials. 

 

This is the newly built gold jewelry precision processing production line invested by the company in 2024. On the basis of the original gold smelting, resource integration is carried out to further improve production efficiency. 

 

At present, the daily output of gold purification and processing in the company is over 300 kilograms. 

 

Li Zuopan, assistant general manager of the company, said that in the first three quarters of 2024, the company’s revenue hit 7 billion yuan. After the traditional consumption peak season in the fourth quarter, the company’s annual revenue can exceed the target of 10 billion yuan.

This is the 5G rice processing production line introduced by the company, which greatly improves the processing capacity of rice and reduces labor by more than half.

The kiln of the lithium carbonate production line with an annual production value of 25,000 tons was ignited in Linwu High-tech Zone on June 18, 2024. Now, the overall project of the lithium carbonate production line with an annual production value of 50,000 tons in the first phase has been basically completed, achieving a major breakthrough in the field of lithium carbonate. 

 

 

The automated lithium-ion battery equipment is independently developed by Hunan Yideng New Energy Company. Relying on the TWS automated lithium-ion battery equipment, the company can produce one million polymer lithium batteries per day.

 

Lyu Hanbing, assistant to the chairman of the company, said that in 2024, the company invested over 10 million yuan in research and development, and the output value reached 120 million yuan. By 2025, it will leverage its R&D advantages and strive to achieve a production value of 150 million yuan.       

 

        

In recent years, the city government has made efforts to build a lithium battery industrial cluster, and achieved new breakthroughs in new fields like new materials and solid-state batteries. 

 

Joysun An’gao’s 10GWh solid-state battery project has been completed, and some solid-state battery products have achieved mass production. Corun has increased the comprehensive recovery rate of lithium resources from 70% to 90% through green lithium extraction process and recycling process.

 

From January to November 2024, the number of enterprises above designated size in the lithium battery new energy cluster in Chenzhou City reached 191, with a cumulative output value of 68.64 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.4%. 

 

The lithium battery new energy whole industrial chain project of Qisheng New Energy Technology and the lithium battery new energy project of Dazhong Mining Hunan have been listed as Hunan’s top ten industrial projects, with the investment exceeding 110%.

 

 

Chenzhou High-tech Zone and Yongxing Economic Development Zone have won the title of “Five Good Industrial Parks”. 

 

Since 2024, the Chenzhou Area of Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone and Chenzhou High-tech Zone have deeply implemented a three-year action plan for improving quality, creating brands and increasing efficiency in the nonferrous metal industry. 

 

 

It has pioneered the recycling of cargo non-bonded packaging materials in and out of the comprehensive bonded zone in China. It has taken the lead in promoting market-oriented investment reform. 

 

It has successfully introduced 36 major projects with an investment of over 200 million yuan, achieved a year-on-year increase of 413.6% in trade with Africa, and a year-on-year increase of 34.9% in the output value of nonferrous metal new materials above designated size.

 

 

It’s expected that the annual industrial added value increase by over 17% year on year, maintaining a fast growth rate. The import and export of foreign trade reached 16 billion yuan, an increase of 20%. 

 

Yongxing Economic Development Zone focuses on the transformation and upgrading of the rare and precious metals comprehensive utilization industry, striving to build a billion-yuan park.
