“I hope to decorate my hometown with my paintbrush,” said Li Siyang, a mural painter born in the 1990s.

She said that she has been engaged in wall painting for 12 years, with the main focus on government publicity themed works. “Ne Zha 2” released during the Spring Festival holiday this year deeply touched her.

“The growth stories and visual designs of characters such as Ne Zha and Ao Bing in the movie are extremely infectious, which inspired me to paint them on walls,” she said.

Li Siyang painted four movie characters, Ne Zha, Ao Run, Shen Gongbao, and Ao Guang, on the walls within five days. The combination of bright colors and dynamic composition makes the characters vivid. During the creative process, many passers-by stopped to watch, and some even came specifically to hurry her up.
