Clusters of morel mushrooms have already sprouted from the ground in the greenhouse. “This year, the morel mushrooms have achieved a yield of 750 kilograms per mu (about 0.067 hectares),” said Zhu Weifang, head of the base. The morel mushrooms welcome a bountiful harvest, and the drying room at the base is also busy, where layers of morel mushrooms are neatly placed on trays, waiting to be dried.

 

 

In addition to morel mushrooms, many other vegetables will also be planted in the base with an altitude of over 800 meters. Workers are now busy plowing the land and renovating greenhouses to plant vegetables.

 

The base covers an area of 300 mu (20 hectares), with 167 greenhouses. Various vegetables and fruits such as parsley, chili peppers, cabbage, and cherry tomatoes are planted in turns. 2,000 tons of various fruits and vegetables can be produced at the base in one year, with an annual output value of 12 million yuan, which can increase the income of local people by 1.5 million yuan every year.

 

 

Meanwhile, the company has also established bases in Nihu, Qingzhu, Dongluo, and Shatin villages, with the total area of over 1,200 mu (80 hectares) and an annual production of about 7,000 tons of vegetables and fruits.
