He Qiuping, chairman of the company, introduced that every seed has undergone strict quality control, and the company’s full process quality tracking system ensures that products can be traced back, allowing farmers to plant reliable seeds and eat reliable grain. 

 

In recent years, the county government has built an agricultural material security system and an emergency reserve fund of 300,000 yuan. Enterprises have implemented storage agricultural materials at slack season and provide agricultural materials at peak season. Village level agricultural material service stations have been set up to fully guarantee spring plowing and preparation.

 

At present, the county has reserved 5,000 tons of fertilizers, 116 tons of pesticides and 16.8 tons of agricultural films. The prices of important agricultural materials remain unchanged year on year, and the reserve volume has increased by 20% compared to the previous year.

This year, 1,025 sets of intelligent agricultural machinery such as high-speed rice transplanters and unmanned plant protection machines will be newly promoted, with the comprehensive mechanization rate of agricultural machinery operations to exceed 90%. 

 

At the rice demonstration area of Pailou township, an all-in-one machine for rotary tillage, fertilization and sowing can complete the work on the land of 50 mu (3.33 hectares) a day, the equivalent of 80 laborers. 

 

 

At the seedling cultivation greenhouses of Xinliang Grain and Oil Development Company, Li Jialiang, head of Xinliang Rice Planting Farmers’ Professional Cooperative in Anren county, is inspecting the seedling cultivation situation. The automatic seeding assembly line of the seedling factory behind him can complete a set of seedling trays in just 15 seconds.

 

Li Jialiang said, “We are now using precise sowing, with 500 grams and 1,000 grams of seeds sowed in each tray. The cost per mu (0.067 hectares) can save one to two catties of seeds. The temperature, humidity and other indicators can be adjusted in a timely manner through an intelligent control system, and the germination rate exceeds 98%. After expert production testing, our yield per mu (0.067 hectares) reaches over 550 kg, which is 10% higher than the traditional seedling raising mode.”

 

 

 

In addition, 13 guidance teams are organized to provide early rice centralized seedling cultivation, rice planting at grain monitoring points, and green, high-quality and efficient technologies for double cropping rice. 

 

This helps large growers solve practical problems and ensures the stable grain planting area and yield. 

 

In the greenhouse of Heyi Agricultural Machinery Cooperative, Yin Youzhong, chairman of the cooperative, was inspecting an agricultural machine. He said that new machines are simpler to operate, easier to use and more efficient than the old ones. 

 

Large growers are encouraged to upgrade agricultural machines. The cooperative has purchased 14 new rice transplanters, with a subsidy of 340,000 yuan. 

 

This year, the county government has integrated special funds of 30 million yuan for double cropping rice, centralized seedling cultivation and provincial incentives for commodity grain production, to ensure safe rice production.4.8 million yuan of reward funds was provided for grain producing counties. 

 

One-time operation rewards and subsidies for newly-purchased rice transplanters, seedling throwers and other machines were implemented to promote the upgrading of agricultural machines. 

 

It has improved the insurance mechanism for grain production disasters, provided insurance and claims services for large grain growers, family farms, to reduce natural risk losses, and provide strong supports for farmers. 

 

The county plans to complete the annual grain sowing area of 672,000 mu (44,800 hectares), including 230,000 mu (15,333.33 hectares) of early rice, 175,000 mu (11,666.67 hectares) of early rice centralized planting area, 225,000 mu (15,000 hectares) of machine planting area, and 25,000 mu (1,666.67 hectares) of soybeans, to ensure a grain output of 281,000 tons.
