There are neat and antique rural courtyards in the village, with clean roads passing through it. In recent years, a total of 89 dangerous and old houses have been demolished in the village, covering an area of 7,000 square meters. Instead, 8 small gardens and amusement parks have been built, and a boutique campsite of 4,000 square meters has been created to further improve the living environment.

The village has won multiple national and provincial honors such as the provincial-level demonstration village of beautiful countryside and the “Traditional Chinese Village”.

According to the unified plan, 25 flats with an average area of 120 square meters will be built in 2025. Currently, the construction site has been connected to water and electric power supplies and roads, and the ground has been leveled. It’s expected that villagers will be able to move into new flats in 2026,” said Zhu Liangsheng, Party secretary of the village.

It introduced Chenzhou Yesen Enterprise Management Co., Ltd. and jointly established Linwu County Longguiping Agricultural Tourism Industry Development Co., Ltd. to build the Longguiping Suji pastoral complex project based on the renovation of old houses, farmland, forest land, and natural villages integrating agriculture, photovoltaic power, tourism and vacation. It features homestay clusters, camping bases, vegetable mazes, Wumei Plum Industrial Park and other projects. In 2024, it received a total of 15,000 tourists throughout the year.

At the same time, the village has developed mulberry, strawberry, bayberry and other planting industries to revitalize the village collective economy and increase villagers’ income.

Zhu Liangsheng said that Longguiping Village has achieved the collective economy of over 600,000 yuan. Currently, over 40 villagers have found employment in the village. The per capita income of villagers increases by 2,000 yuan every year.
