Hexie village approved as national beautiful leisure village

Recently, Hexie village of Zhenghe town, Guiyang county, Chenzhou city has been approved as a national beautiful leisure village in 2024. This honor fully showcases the village’s efforts in ecological protection, cultural inheritance, industrial integration and agricultural income increase.
The village has won many honorary titles, including national civilized village, provincial civilized village, provincial demonstration village for beautiful countryside and provincial key village for rural tourism.
Relying on its superior location advantages and the construction of Xihe scenic belt, the village has developed rural tourism, agritainment and homestay inns, and made traditional industries stronger.
It has fully utilized the superior natural ecological conditions and traditional industrial foundation of Xihe River and the village to develop lotus planting and hairy crab breeding, and created an experiential breeding base.
It has also developed natural landscapes and wind and rain pavilions, as well as Internet-famous attractions.
Efforts have been made to promote the integration of primary, secondary and tertiary industries.
The village has actively developed new business formats, children’s play, characteristic homestay inns and festival economy, and explored new paths for the deep integration of agriculture, culture and tourism in rural areas.
