Green vegetables such as Shanghai cabbage, yellow cabbage are growing very well in the intelligent greenhouse of the company. Farmers are harvesting vegetables skillfully. The harvested vegetables will soon be delivered to customers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area at order prices ranging from 2 to 5 yuan. 

 

In the greenhouse where vegetables have just been harvested, a machine was ploughing the field while workers were busy fertilizing. It is expected that a new round of vegetable planting in the greenhouse can be completed within three days.

 

“We hired over 30 villagers and now, we can harvest 10,000 kg of vegetables every day. We started plowing and planting the next day after harvesting. Within one month, we can harvest a new batch of vegetables. Every year, we can harvest ten batches of vegetables,” said a technical staff. 

 

 

Last year, the company invested 5 million yuan to build a smart greenhouse covering an area of 150 mu (10 hectares) in Leshuihe village of Tiantang town. 

 

The intelligent temperature control, water and fertilizer integration facilities in the greenhouse create the most suitable growth environment for vegetable cultivation. 

 

 

Vegetables can be harvested all year round, which ensures sustainable land use and high yield while promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional agriculture to facility agriculture in terms of scale, industrialization, and technology.
