The Chenzhou Handmade Tea Competition as well as the Guidong “Tea Culture” tourism season kicked off at the 10,000-mu (about 666.67 hectares) tea plantation in Qingquan Town of Guidong County on April 12.


The event aims to showcase the ecological beauty of Guidong through high-mountain tea, stimulate industrial development through the competition, and promote rural revitalization through tea and tourism integration.
