At the entrance of Feitian Mountain Scenic Area, many visitors came to buy different kinds of creative foods on May 4. The Chenxin Cultural Tourism Market has been set up since May 1 by Chenzhou Cultural Tourism Company under Chenzhou Investment Group, which integrates cuisine, cultural creation and intangible cultural heritage.
Recently, Chenzhou City released the “Several Policies to Support College Students’ Entrepreneurship”, with 15 measures around funds, subsidies, awards and promotion.
Chenzhou Culture and Tourism Group has collaborated with local universities to provide free stalls for college students.
“We provide the venue, ,the School of Fine Arts and Design at Xiangnan University reaches out for famous products and Internet-famous snacks, while college students are responsible for product design, production, and sales. They run stalls on weekends or holidays.”
Chen Zhaohong, general manager of the group, introduced that there are 22 stalls in the first batch, with 54 college students participating, and there will be 159 college students for it in the second batch.
Jiahe ciba (glutinous rice cake), special coffee and quality tea are inviting in the gourmet area, creative items Chenzhou characteristics are showcased at the cultural creation area, and the handicrafts area is a blend of modernity and tradition.
A junior student from Xiangnan University said, “Participating in entrepreneurial activities not only allows me to accumulate valuable entrepreneurial experience, but also enhances my communication skills, teamwork abilities, and problem-solving skills. This is very helpful for my future entrepreneurship and employment.”
The group plans to open cultural tourism markets in Feitian Mountain, Gaoyi Ridge, Wanyang Mountain, Lianxi Academy and other scenic spots. Through cultural tourism products, AI tour guides, interactive projects and other ways, it has helped 1,000 college students start businesses in the cultural tourism industry.
