It was learned from Chenzhou Development & Reform Committee that 16 new energy power generation projects have been combined to the grid. From this January to June, the total amount of electricity generated by those projects hit 492.57million KWH, up 81.6%. The generating capacity for wind power plant was doubled in the first half year of 2015.

Currently, Chenzhou urban household garbage incineration power project which is located in Banzilou village of Suxian district has been placed to trial operation. It covers 120mu lands. The scale of construction is to dispose 1300tons of household garbage every day. It was constructed by Chenzhou Huiming Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. with the mode of BOT. It was divided to two phases with total planning investment of 440million yuan. The first phase was with 340million yuan investment and with the construction scale of disposing 700tons of household garbage every day (the maximum level can be 1000tons). Two 350tons’ incineration lines, two and half sets of semidry flue-gas treatment system, and one 12000KW steam turbine generator unit are facilitated there. The first phase of this project has been finished. On this April 15, it started to collect the garbage and was handled to the joint debugging phase. In the beginning of this July, it was combined to the grid and was placed to trial operation. The other new energy power generation industries are being promoted well. Datang Huayin Chenzhou Daowoli Landfill Gas Power Plant generated 1.93million KWH power in the first half year of 2015, and Anren Kaidi Biomass Power Plant generated 70.68million KWH.

Wind power is one of the highlights for Chenzhou city’s new energy power generation. Till the end of this June, 268 wind turbines have been installed in Chenzhou city and 209 of them have been combined to the grid, which was 121 and 72 more than last year respectively. 12 wind power plants as Yangtianhu, Luhejin, Sanshiliuwan, Lanqiaoguanli, Shuiyuan, Tiantangshan, Laixi(the second phase of Shuiyuan), Dachong, Taipingli, Hankou, and etc. have been combined to the grid. The total power generated by the plants was amounted to 410.55million KWH, up 108.8%, and the on-grid energy was 397.79million KWH, up 108.1%.
