It was reported that Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City met Zhang Ruixiong- CEO of Parkson China and his investigation team on October 22, 2015.

Parkson China is one of the largest fashion houses of China. Over 50 large-sized department stores of the group which are positioned on middle and top grade consumer groups are being operated in 33 cities of 22 provinces and direct-controlled municipalities. The group also established long term and stable cooperation with some famous brands of China and abroad.
Currently, Parkson China has signed the cooperation agreement with Chenzhou Meimei World City Commercial Square. According to the agreement, it would take Jianrong Aquarium, H&M, ZARA, Starbucks, and some other famous brands to settle down in Chenzhou city.

Qu Hai introduced current condition of Chenzhou city to the guests. He said, as the “south gate” of Hunan province, important window of opening up and front position of docking with the Pearl River Delta, Chenzhou city is with advantageous transportation location, developed road network, abundant resources, graceful ecology, talented people, and perfect and multifunctional opening and logistics platforms. Chenzhou always paid high attention on the development of modern retail industry including ecommerce. It successfully introduced and cultivated series mature large-sized retail enterprises. All of those helped to lay sound foundation and expectation to the improvement of modern retail industry. Parkson China and some other famous retail enterprises which decided to settle down in Chenzhou city would greatly help to promote Chenzhou city’s projects construction, transformation development and enterprises cooperation. Chenzhou city would try best to provide the best environment for all the enterprise. Qu also expressed his sincere hope that more merchants would go to Chenzhou city and place investment there.
