On January 18, 2016, when reporters arrived at the construction site of Zixing Dongjiangwan & Dongjiang Lake Big Data project, the workers were working hard there to catch the deadline of completion in the end of this September. At the same day, three quartzite fine processing production lines which were invested by Jiatai Mining with 120million yuan were placed to trial production in Zhoumensi town of Zixing city. It was introduced that the big data industry and silicone material industry which were based on the above two projects would become new economic development engine of Zixing city during the “13th five-year plan”.

Dongjiang Lake big data project is one of the largest big data projects being constructed in Hunan province. It will be set with 10,000 racks by different phases. This 1.2billion-yuan invested project can gain 2billion yuan annual output value and 50million yuan tax payments once placed to operation. During the “13th five-year plan”, Zixing city will build Dongjiang Lake Big Data Industrial Park as well. According to the plan, it will cover with 3000mu lands, including one million square meters construction areas. 5 billion yuan investments will be placed on it. It planned to introduce 5 internet data center services and 1000 internet enterprises to settle down there, and improve it to be a mobile internet industrial park mainly on big data. Furthermore, Zixing city is negotiating with Inspur Group to improve the park to be data-backup center of China and government affairs cloud data base of Hunan province. It is being proceeded to the stage of site collection. China Resources is handling the assessment on building big data center in Zixing city. Huawei, Tencent, VNET, and some other enterprises are dispatching some professional staffs to handle the investigation work there.

Silicone material industry will be led with the idea of “development + deep processing + R&D and manufacturing of environmental friendly new material” relying on Zixing city’s high quality and rich quartz sand resource. It planned to build an upstream and a downstream silicon material industrial parks in Zhoumensi town and 5th Zixing Industrial Park, which was purposely to transfer the resource advantages to be economic increasing advantages and improve it to be a cluster industry with annual output value of 3billion yuan. The two parks will respectively take charge of producing silica sand and silica powder and developing high-end products as high purity silica-based material, silica gel products, solar glass, quartz stone material, silicon alloy, electronic display screen, cosmetics, and etc. currently, the first phase project of silicone material handled out in Lanshi of Zhoumensi town has been placed to trial production; the industrial park which is located in Huangqidong of the town is being under construction and 5 silicone materials processing enterprises signed the cooperation agreement with the park via industrial chain investment attraction and planned to be settled down there; furthermore, two famous quartz stone material enterprises are still negotiating with Zixing city.

The rapid promotion of new project and fast development of new industry do not only provide new energy for the fulfillment of Zixing city’s “12th five-year plan”, but also provide new engine for its sound beginning of “13th five-year plan”.
