The inauguration ceremony of the second board council of Fujian Commerce Chamber in Chenzhou was held on June 16 in Omega Hotel. It will serve as a platform for businessmen with Fujian origin to start business in chenzhou city. Leaders of Hunan provincial United front Work Department, Hunan Association of Industry and Commerce, relative departments from Chenzhou city, Hunan provincial Fujian Commerce Chamber and some other chamber representatives attended this ceremony.

The second board council of Fujian Commerce Chamber in Chenzhou was founded by general election. Su Wenji was elected to be the chairman and general secretary of the second board council, while He Wenge and Wu Shaokang to be honorary chairman. Some respectful seniors were invited to be the honorary chairmen and consultants to contribute ideas and exert efforts for the chamber’s improvement.

In recent years, with the rapid expansion of Fujian's non-government investment in the country,Chenzhou has become another hot land for Fujian investors. Fujian Commerce Chamber of Chenzhou was established in August 2008. As the home of Fujian businessmen, the chamber contributed greatly to non-public Fujian enterprises’ healthy development and Chenzhou city’s economical and social improvement after years’ construction. They have also been involved in the causes for public benefit and charity for many years and, made an immediate donation to relieve disasters in Hunan and help students in poverty. Since the founding of Chenzhou Fujian Chamber of Commerce, Fujian commerce chamber has followed and carried forward Fujian businessmen’s traditional virtues of charity to actively take part in Chenzhou city’s public service like city greening and other charity undertakings. The new elected chairman of chamber- Su Wenji who is the president of Chenzhou Chengyu Estate Development Co., Ltd. donated more than 10 million yuan accumulatively in recent years. In this opening ceremony, the chamber donated 250,000 yuan for Xiangnan primary school and Qilidong primary school separately.
