On May 22, the 15th Beijing International High-tech Expo was convoked in Great Hall of the People. On the basis of the expo, 2012 Hunan (Beijing) Key Parks Promotion and Investment Conference was held on the same day.
Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee-Mao Tengfei and Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou city- Zhang Xihui led the delegate to attend this expo and were presented at the signing ceremony. “Opening and Rising, Green Development” was the theme of this promotion and investment conference. Chenzhou tried to promote its new energy and new material industry with the characteristic of greening and high-tech. Chenzhou government reached the new energy framework agreement with Huineng Co., Ltd. China National Nuclear Corporation with the amount of 3.0 billion yuan. Chenzhou High Technology Industrial Park (Export Processing Zone) signed the contract amounting to 3.0 billion yuan with Shanghai Zhongkun Investment Co., Ltd. to build the service platform for Shanghai enterprises headquarter base and entrepreneurship & innovation. Hunan Huaxin Non-ferrous Co., Ltd concluded a 1.0 billion yuan pure silver research and development project with China Chentong Metal Group. Furthermore, 500 million yuan cooperation project was signed between Chenzhou Yuanhong Technology Development Service Co., Ltd. and China Science and Electronic Co., Ltd.. 280 million yuan contract was concluded between Chenzhou Xiongfeng Rare Metal Materials Co., Ltd. and Beijing Non-ferrous Metal Research Institution. It was learned from Jing Fuli- Director of Chenzhou Council for the Promotion of International Trade that among the 11 projects signed on the signing ceremony, there were 5 projects of Chenzhou amounting to 7.78 billion yuan. Chenzhou took the first place of attracting the funds on this conference among all other cities in Hunan.
During the expo, Chenzhou delegate made an inspection tour for Chenzhou platform which was set in China International Exhibition Center and they also talked more details with relative national ministries and commissions, famous national-owned enterprises and entrepreneurs.
