It was estimated to be placed to operation in 2017

“In order to ensure Chenzhou people can be supplied with the water of Dongjiang river earlier, we started to work earlier.” As learned from Zixing city, though it was still the Chinese Spring Festival holiday, the diversion project of Dongjiang river were started to construct ahead of the time schedule. It was purposely to finish the project sooner and to extend benefits to all people.

“Self sacrifice helps to achieve great aims.” Zhou Guoye who is from Qingyuan city of Guangdong province is one of the construction workers of diversion project of Dongjiang river. He came back to work in the fifth day of Chinese lunar New Year, so he spent less than one week holiday with his family members.

Diversion project of Dongjiang river which was divided into three stages as recent phase, long-term phase and long shot was launched in September, 2014. Per the recent phase, it was planned to be constructed for 3 years with 1.99billion yuan investment and was estimated to be placed to operation in 2017. The diversion scale was estimated to be 300,000tons/day. A tunnel which was from Dongjiang lake water reservoir to Dongjiang lake would be dig in this project. The clear water would be delivered to Chenzhou urban area and Zixing city with the way of gravity direct current, which would be helpful to meet the water supply demands of the medium and long term urban development of Chenzhou urban areas. Once the project finished, millions citizens of Chenzhou urban area and Chenzigui town cluster would be granted with better water supply condition.

It was introduced by Zeng Ke- the representative of diversion project of Dongjiang river of Chendian International that current works handled for Dongjiang Water Plant was estimated to be finished in early of this March according to the time schedule.
