The spring of Chenzhou city is full of vigor.

The whole year’s work depends on a good start in spring. How is everything going on for the key projects? On March, 31, 2015, Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee was accompanied with Shou Jianzhong and Zhang Yangping- municipal leaders of Chenzhou city to take the deepening on-site investigation of key projects.

“Keeping playing much attention on the construction to combine to the grid in this May.”Xiang Lili said to the principal of urban household garbage incineration power generation project when he visited the site.

“Following the planning and high standard to grant people with sound living condition.” Xiang repeatedly said to the principals of local party committee and government when he was on the construction site of small town project of Xifengdu, Suxian district.

In the beginning of 2015, “new three-establishments” was launched in Chenzhou city. Building a national top level urban-rural integrated ecological gallery- Xihe water ecological scenic belt was proposed on the establishment work of national ecological garden city. From last May, Xihe comprehensive treatment project which covered hundreds villages of four counties and districts was implemented in Chenzhou city. In order to get a comprehensive understanding of the treatment work, Xiang Lili decided to walk from Nanxiang village of Suxian district.
Blue sky, green grass, new trees planted along the sides of cycling track burgeoned out, rural houses lie around the green fields, a couple of farmers were working on the field……
“River treatment does not mean make a new start, but refers to remediation and beautification which need to keep its original ecology, image , folk, and etc.” said Xiang Lili.
Xiang Lili walked up from Nanxiang village and enjoyed a beautiful landscape painting with the clean water of Xihe river and lush grass. He scooped up a handful water from the river and praised: “it is rare to see such clean water in Xihe river and such sound ecological protection work along the banks. It can well compare with Hudson River of America.”

Walking up from Xihe river, Xiang Lili and his team arrived at Huatang town section of Beihu district. It was introduced that because the treatment project of Xihe river was aimed to provide an ecological, well-off and happy road to local people without handling land acquisition and demolition, local people strongly supported the project. Currently, Xihe river water ecological scenic belt began to take shape.

“It is a project concerned for the water ecological civilization, overall development of urban and rural areas and new rural construction. The treatment of Xihe river should be combined together with the treatment of source of Xiangjiang river. Not only the environment condition along the river should be improved, the water quality and quantity of Xihe river should be upgraded and increased as well to grant local people with scenery environment and share the upgrading of living quality. All work should be followed with the requirements of planning, handled out with high standard and high level management.” Xiang said to the principal of the project on the investigation trip.

“Look, because of the sound ecological condition, the egrets settle down here.”Hundreds of egrets were enjoying their leisure time in the thick forest of Huatang town, Beihu district when the investigation team arrived there. On hearing the voice, they flied to the sky.
