Hunan Provincial Inspectorate of Deepening Reform Investigates Chenzhou City

It was reported that the 6th inspectorate of deepening reform of Hunan Provincial Party Committee investigated Chenzhou city to check its reforms on non-public economy, fiscal and taxation, safety of food and pharmaceuticals, and etc. This special investigation would take 3 days.

 

The inspectorate listened to the reports of Chenzhou city’s deepening reform in the afternoon of May 4, 2016. Concerned for the non-public economy, its added value was amounted to 141.2billion yuan, accounting for 70.2% of Chenzhou city’s GDP which was 10.6% higher than Hunan provincial average rate, ranking the first place of Hunan province. Concerned for the fiscal and taxation, Chenzhou city carried out the reform of the financial system from 6 aspects as the administration of budget, revenue, expenditure, debt, financial system, and etc., including 27 tasks of reform. Concerned for the reform of safety of food and pharmaceuticals, it was covered into government report, key agenda of the government’s executive meeting, economic and social development planning, comprehensive assessment of counties and districts, and pro-people projects, which helped to strengthen the responsibility mechanism and reach sound effects.

 

The inspectorate highly affirmed the deepening reform work handled out by Chenzhou city. Qin Guowan- Deputy Director of Hunan Reform Office said that Chenzhou city comprehensively promoted the reform of non-public economy, fiscal and taxation, and safety of food and pharmaceuticals in recent years, which improved local economic development effectively. He hoped that Chenzhou city can keep the confidence on reform and carry out more innovative ways to enhance the reform and fulfill the tasks of reform successfully.
