It was learned from some departments of Zixing city, in order to grant people with safer and more convenient water supply, Zixing city planned to invest 6.88million yuan on the construction of 16 new rural drinking water safety projects, which would help to solve the drinking water safety problem for 14232 people of 16 administrative villages of 9 towns and counties of Zixing city.

In 2015, Zixing city placed great attention on solving the drinking water problem for the farmers of mountainous area and Dongjiang water reservoir. Some special agencies were set up by Zixing Water Conservancy Bureau to solve the problems hindered on the way of projects construction with more scientific solutions and to ensure all the rural drinking water safety projects to be completed on time.

Till now, 13 projects as Cainong village of Xingning town, Fengshu village of Boshui county, Fenglian village of Qingjiang county, Yangtou village of Zhoumensi town, and etc. have been placed to trial operation, while parts of the rest 3 projects have been placed to operation and estimated to be fulfilled in the end of this July. Once all the projects placed to operation, four drinking water safety standards as quality, volume, convenience and water source guarantee rate would be upgraded obviously for the 16 villages’s people.
