It was reported that in the afternoon of August 10, 2015, Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City met with Qiao Shibo- General Manager of China Resource Group. A symposium on further industrial development and projects cooperation was held between the two parties. Both of them considered that there is great expectation for the further cooperation between two parties, especially on elderly care and fitness, trade logistics, comprehensive development of Dongjiang lake, and etc., so both two parties should deepen the communication to reach more cooperation.

China Resource Group started the joint cooperation with Chenzhou city in 1998. Currently, it has paid 11.45billion yuan investments on gas, electricity, pharmacy, coal and other industries in Chenzhou city, contributing 4.52billion yuan tax payments to local government and providing 3560 job vacancies to local people.

Qiao Shibo said Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Chenzhou Government and Chenzhou people highly supported the development of the group’s enterprises and provided sound condition for their further improvement. Chenzhou city is with abundant natural resources and the industrial development is full of vigor, especially for the fitness and medical treatment, leisure tourism, trade logistics and some other modern service industries. China Resources highly expected to reach new cooperation with Chenzhou city in near future. Next step, the specially-assigned person would be confirmed by China Resources to accelerate the projects investigation and preparation in Chenzhou city and try to launch a batch of new projects there within this year.

Qu Hai stated that Chenzhou would provide better service and condition for the group’s enterprises. All departments especially Chenzhou Central Enterprises Docking Office should enhance the comprehensive coordination and provide better service for the enterprises positively. Chenzhou city sincerely hoped the group could expand its investment in Chenzhou city and accelerate the expansion of industries there. Chenzhou city would prepare series high level industrial projects on fitness and medical treatment, tourism development, trade logistics, comprehensive development of Dongjiang lake, commercial real estate, and etc. to dock with the group. Further docking communication should be handled out by both two parties to expand the cooperation fields. Specially-assigned person should be specified to establish a more effective docking mechanism.

Qu Hai introduced the strategic cooperation between Chenzhou city and China Resources Group and promoted over 10 high level projects on fitness, comprehensive development of Dongjiang lake, trade logistics, and etc. Qu said China Resources Group is one of the central enterprises cooperated with Chenzhou city in the early step with great amount of investment on different industries and gained good profits. He expressed his hope that China Resources could carry out further cooperation with Chenzhou city on hot sprint tourism, fitness, comprehensive development of Dongjiang lake, expansion of retail market, logistics, technical improvement and upgrading of industry, and etc.
