Just after the 8-day Spring Festival holiday, the company has worked to promote the construction of the 20-million-ton beneficiation project, hoping to inject strong momentum into the development of the lithium battery industry in Linwu county. 

 

At the construction site, workers are busy with equipment maintenance and repair. At present, 5,600 meters of the 7,300-meter long tunnel has been completed and it is expected to be fully connected by the end of April this year.

 

 

Ji Rong, the mine manager of the company, said that the company resumed work on February 1, and the road hardening work is under way, with the 1,100-meter road to be hardened. It’s planned that the supporting works inside the tunnel are expected to be completed in August this year. 

 

The project will be built in two phases. The first phase of the production line with an annual production of 10 million tons is expected to be completed and put into operation in mid-2026. 

 

At that time, Hunan Dazhonghe will be a benchmark for smart mines, green mines, and ecological mines, as well as a 4A level scenic spot, helping Chenzhou City build a lithium battery industry worth ten billion yuan.
