Hunan Liesheng Electronic Technology was established in 2024, mainly producing Bluetooth earphones and smart watches. It’s a leading enterprise in the Xiaomi ecosystem. 

 

To achieve large-scale production of smart wearable devices for sale throughout the country and even overseas, the company needs both technology and production capacity. 

 

The reason why the company’s little headphones can be sold to foreign countries is the integration of advantages from Dongguan of Guangdong province and Chenzhou of Hunan province. 

 

“In the past, we mainly produced low-end products such as in-ear headphones. After reorganizing, both the technology and the product positioning have improved several notches,” said Wei Qingjun, general manager of Hunan Liesheng.

 

Hunan Liesheng was restructured from Hunan Changge Intelligent Technology and Dongguan Liesheng Electronic Technology. Dongguan Liesheng, as a national high-tech enterprise, has a R&D personnel ratio of over 60% and posses the intelligent wearable device production technology which is scarce in Hunan province. 

 

After the restructuring of the enterprise, the cutting-edge technology has landed in Chenzhou, and the product categories have been continuously expanded to include semi-in-ear headphones, open headphones, bone conduction headphones, smart watches and bracelets, and others, with hundred-yuan products upgraded to high-end ones with a market price of nearly a thousand yuan. 

 

“The revenue this year is expected to reach 400 million to 500 million yuan, which is several times higher than that in previous years,” said Wei Qingjun.

 

In the workshop producing smart bracelets, it only takes a few seconds for the body to be accurately covered with transparent glue and then transported to the next process.

 

A head of the production department of the company introduced that with the introduction of automated production equipment, dispensing is more accurate, 50% of manpower can be saved, and the production capacity has increased from 200 pieces per hour to 650 pieces. 

 

The significant increase in enterprise production capacity is partly due to the introduction of automated production lines. The total production capacity has doubled that before the restructuring. 

 

On the other hand, it's attributed to the abundant human resources in Chenzhou. After Liesheng Electronics arrived in Chenzhou, it provided jobs for more than 1,500 local people, which in turns reduced labor cost for the company. 

 

It has also sold these products to other places of the world.

 

“Relying on Dongguan headquarters, we are now a partner of several top brands. Since its establishment, the annual sales volume has exceeded 25 million units, which is 1.6 times that of before,” aid Wei Qingjun. 

 

In terms of transportation, Chenzhou’s location advantage as the “southern gateway” of Hunan has been fully utilized, making it very convenient for products to be shipped to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and even various parts of the world.

 

Chenzhou High-tech Zone has launched order-oriented investment attraction around Hunan Liesheng. 

 

For example, in response to the largest demand for new display products of the company, 8 ecological industrial chain enterprises specializing in cover plates, backboards, LCD, modules, assemblies to terminals have been introduced, with a total investment of 3.35 billion yuan.

 

Next, it will comprehensively promote investment attraction and help Chenzhou build a highland for intelligent wearable industry in the province.
