It was learned from the management committee of Chenzhou Development Zone that 12 million yuan will be spent accelerating the construction of Qulidong scenic forest project to forge city forest scenery.

Qilidong scenic forest with 413 mu area is one of the key projects for development zones' greening work. The management of the development zone held the coordination conference to study details of its planning, construction land, execution and etc.. On March 16, 2012, Qilidong project started from a voluntary trees planting activity by the development zone management committee and its secondary departments. Till now, the main scenery roads base were finished and nearly 8000 different kinds of trees were planted. There would be about 20000 trees planted in the next stage and other infrastructures carried out soon.
