It was learned from Chenzhou Economic Development Zone that Chenzhou city would launch the integrated development of Shigaitang Industrial Park, which was purposely to forge “upgraded version” of the industrial park.

Shigaitang Industrial Park which was used to be named as Shigaitang County and Town Industrial Community was established in 1996 and the exclusive Hunan provincial level town and county industrial community. Assisted with sound industrial base and advantageous location condition, three advantageous industries as non-ferrous metal smelting, machinery manufacturing industry, and food processing were built up there. In recent years, guided with the mechanism of “integration of Chenzhou Economic Development Zone and Beihu district”, new material, new energy and modern logistics became the new development direction for the transformation of the industrial park.

2015 is the key year for improving Chenzhou Economic Development Zone to be national level economic zone. It was purposely to provide better platform for the transformation development of the industrial park’s economy and forge main battle field of projects construction for the establishment of national economic development zone by promoting the integration development of Shigaitang Industrial Park. It was learned that the project would handle integrated development for the 1000mu industrial lands on the sides of Nanling Avenue, mainly on the upgrading of Nanling Avenue, early finishing of the industrial lands on eastern and western side of the avenue, and land selling or standard workshops & offices construction after land finishing. It was estimated to place 2 billion yuan on the project. Once finished, the street scenery of Nanling Avenue would be greatly improved, industrial park’s image would be upgraded and the development of the tertiary industry would be accelerated. Land finishing and standard workshops construction would be helpful for promoting the settlement of enterprises and accelerating the development of the industrial park.
