Chuandong Primary School is located on the southeast side of the intersection of Chayuan Road and Shuangpo Road, is adjacent to Wulingge Park in the north, and Chuandong Middle School in the south, which is planned to be built. 

 

The school covers a total land area of ​​21,200 square meters and a total construction area of ​​about 18,700 square meters. It is planned to construct 3 5-story teaching buildings with 36 teaching classes, as well as sports facilities and venues such as basketball courts and table tennis courts. Pedestrians and vehicles will be separated in different roads and an underground parking garage with 126 parking slots will be built.

 

On February 7, 2021, the Office of the Management Committee of Chenzhou EDZ issued the “Work Plan for the Construction of the Chuandong Primary School Project”. In just seven months, all the preparations such as house demolition, young crop compensation, and relocation of lines and poles and all the procedures for project registration have been completed. The two municipal roads, Chayuan Road and Shuangpo Road are expected to be built and the first phase of the project has been delivered.

 

For the smooth progress of the school construction, the director of the Management Committee, as the leader, organized the members from the zone, Beihu District, and the project unit together to build a service platform for the project. The responsible units actively implemented various agreed matters and timely improved relevant procedures in accordance with their respective duties.

 

In recent years, Chenzhou EDZ has newly built Chuandong Primary School, Fengqi School, expanded Shigaitang Central School, and planned a batch of primary and secondary school projects such as Chuandong Middle School and the Forty-Six Elementary School Phase II, so that children are able to enjoy quality education near their homes and promote the quality development of education in the zone.
