The list is based on the national and provincial level specialized, refined, and innovative “little giant” enterprises registered in 178 national high-tech zones as of December 31, 2023.

 

Hunan Province had 8 zones on the list, ranking fourth in the country in terms of quantity.

 

There are numerous small and medium-sized enterprises in Hunan, with flexible operations and quick responses to market changes, which are important driving forces for economic growth in the province. 

 

In recent years, Hunan has focused on cultivating high-quality enterprises with innovative capabilities and achievements, and “specialization, refinement, and innovation” has become the most prominent direction for the high-quality development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

 

According to statistics, the specialized, refined, and innovative “little giant” enterprises in our province are mostly distributed in advanced manufacturing fields such as the modern industrial system, strategic emerging industries, and “new infrastructure”. 

 

As of now, Hunan has cultivated a total of 496 national level specialized and innovative “little giant” enterprises and 3,702 provincial-level specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.
