Recently, Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone was approved as a provincial “Five Good” park in Hunan province, ranking first in the province. It has ranked first in the province as a national level park for three consecutive years.

The park focuses on the three leading industries of nonferrous metal new materials, electronic information technology and advanced equipment manufacturing. The park focuses on the advantageous industries to promote industrial development.
In 2024, the added value of large-scale industries in Chenzhou High-tech Zone increased by 21.2% year-on-year, the import and export volume of foreign trade reached 16 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20%, and the actual use of foreign investment was 159 million dollars, a year-on-year increase of 68.4%, maintaining the second highest in Hunan province.
In recent years, Chenzhou High-tech Zone has made efforts to build a demonstration zone of Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone, one of top ten industrial parks in Hunan province, a modern industrial new area, an urban area that integrates production, life and ecology.
It has driven its development through institutional and technological innovation. Efforts have been made to comprehensively promote the construction of innovative platforms such as Chenfo Intelligent Manufacturing Advanced Technology Research Institute and Central South University Nonferrous Metals Pilot Base.
