The organizing committee of trans-century cross-Guiyang environmental protection tour took a concentrated investigation with the principals of environmental protection department, water resources department and livestock department and Guiyang county media group.

It was focused on the heavy metal pollution retreatment on Xiangjiang river section and drinking water resource protection. The investigation team took the on -site inspection, visited the masses, discussed situations with relative departments, and use the follow-up reports of the media (reporters) to investigate the hot and difficult issue, namely the most concerned issue of drinking water. The team took visits to Leiping mining heavy metal pollution comprehensive treatment project, drinking water projects of Xiaojiashan reservoir and protection of water resources on Fangyuan water reservoir.

The heavy metal pollution comprehensive treatment project was undertaken by Chenzhou Lihe Chemical Co., Ltd. with 123.60 million yuan and is almost finished now. It marked that Guiyang County achieved its staged objective on the heavy metal pollution treatment. In order to well handle the heavy metal pollution treatment and accomplish “the twelfth five-year” emission reduction task of heavy metal, Guiyang County well implemented the measures concerning heavy metal pollution and paid full enforce on the treatment project. Now there are five heavy metal treatment projects with 500.94 million yuan investment approved by Hunan DRC and Environmental Protection Ministry and each project is progressing well. By doing this, the final goal of clear water and blue sky in near future will be recovered.
