Thanks to the development of Yinxing Company, Chengui Mining Industry, Huafeng Electronics, and some other enterprises which were with 100million yuan scaled industrial output value, Guiyang county’s foreign trade was improved rapidly. According to the customs statistics, from this January to October, $297.93million foreign trade value was hit by Guiyang county with an increase of 103.8%. The county’s total foreign trade volume and total volume & increasing rate of export processing trade ranked in advanced place in Chenzhou city.

In order to promote the development of open economy, Guiyang county carried out series investment attraction activities. For example of “Shanghai trade fair week”, Guiyang county held some small-scale docking symposiums with the enterprises during the period, which greatly helped to sign the agreements successfully. According to the data, over 3.5billion yuan investment projects were reached by Guiyang county during that week.

In order to improve the enterprises development and upgrade the performance of export processing trade, the management committee of Guiyang Industrial Park worked together with Chenzhou Customs to hold some training courses on customs processing trade, policies and practical operations of bonded businesses, and etc. The enterprises were acknowledged with the professional knowledge and relative customs procedures, which helped to lay the theory foundation for the enterprises to promote their export businesses. At the meantime, in order to expand the export processing trade scale and increasing rate of import & export, Guiyang county placed much more attention on the cultivation of new increasing points by guiding the general trade enterprises to transfer to processing trade enterprises and by encouraging current processing trade enterprises to develop more new products and expand new markets with more species. In 2014, 3 new foreign trade enterprises were registered in Guiyang county. Total 28 foreign trade and export processing trade companies with import-export operation right and registrations were available in the county. It was estimated that the total processing trade volume could hit $330million in 2014 with an increase of over 26.92%.
