Guiyang County’s industrial output up 12.9% in first 10 months of 2023

From January to October this year, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size in Guiyang County increased by 12.9% year on year, exceeding the average growth rate in Hunan. The net inflow of industrial tax was 553 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 81%.

Guiyang County has worked to build a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing as the backbone, and made efforts to promote the development of leading industries such as non-ferrous metal deep processing, electronic information, and home furnishings, which has advanced the rapid development of industrial production in Guiyang.
 
The Guiyang Nonferrous Technology Industrial Park is one of the 11 advanced manufacturing industry clusters cultivated in Hunan. Driven by leading enterprises such as China Minmetals, Hunan Nonferrous Metals Holding Group Co, Ltd., and Hunan Gold, there are 49 chain enterprises in the park. This year, the non-ferrous industry market has recovered, and Guiyang has continued efforts to guide enterprises in the non-ferrous industry to develop.
 
There are 72 high-tech enterprises in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park, including Ampron and Yajingyuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. This year, Guiyang has strengthened the industry-university-research linkage, digital upgrading, and talent pool construction to help enterprises break through key core technologies and double output value.
 
The Home Furnishing Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park has attracted leading companies in the industry such as Churong Furniture and Gangyi Furniture Co., Ltd., driving the cluster development of nearly 70 home manufacturing and supporting enterprises. Household products made in Guiyang have been exported overseas.
 
The comprehensive economic strength of Guiyang County ranks among the top ten in Hunan. According to Wu Chuhua, Party secretary of Guiyang County, Guiyang has abundant mineral resources, with lead zinc ore reserves accounting for 32% of the total in Hunan. In the first 10 months, the mining industry in the county generated 186 million yuan in tax revenue, a year-on-year increase of 19%.
 
Guiyang is also one of the wind power bases in Hunan with an investment of one billion yuan, attracting strategic investors such as China Hydropower Consulting Group, China General Nuclear Power Corporation, and Power China. There are 15 wind and photovoltaic fields. In the first 10 months, the county’s green energy industry contributed 84.07 million yuan in tax revenue, a year-on-year increase of 317%.
 
Guiyang has continued to optimize its business environment and promote high-quality services. A total of 323 service specialists have been dispatched to provide service for 633 enterprises and 121 key projects.
