When reporters arrived at the tobacco fields of Zhuquan town, Jiahe county, the tobacco farmers were working hard on the transplantation of tobacco seedlings. Till now, 2742mu transplantation work has been completed, covering 103.8% of the total task.

In order to make sure the quality of transplantation, Zhuquan town invited and hired some technicians to present guidance to the farmers on the fields and some bases of tobacco plantation cooperatives. In order to seize the chance and marketing time on the basis of sound weather condition, all tobacco villages tried great efforts to complete the transplantation work before early of April, which would help to provide favorable conditions to the cultivation and harvest of tobacco. At the meantime, Zhuquan town enhanced the whole-process control by providing guidance to the tobacco farmers and cooperatives. It signed contracts with them to well control the quality of seeds, cultivation, transplantation, and purchasing. All the work which was handled out on the consideration of tobacco farmers’ profit was well praised by local tobacco farmers.

It was introduced that more than 2.92million tobacco plants were planned to be cultivated in Zhuquan town in 2015, accounting to 2660mu areas roughly.
