Promoting early commencement, construction, and production of high-quality projects is an important part of safeguarding new-quality productivity. The Phase II project of Hunan Xinquan Technology started construction in November 2023 and was put into use in October 2024. The project includes three standard factory buildings and supporting facilities such as a research and development building. Three intelligent processing production lines have been added for the company’s mold processing and equipment accessory processing. It is expected to increase the total production value by 180 million yuan. 

 

The expansion of the Phase II plant is a high-quality project in Jiahe County to promote the transformation and development of the casting and forging industry, and  to strengthen, supplement, and extend the chain.

 

In recent years, Jiahe County has continued efforts to promote the upgrading of the casting and forging industry and the innovative development of the mechanical equipment manufacturing industry, and formed an industrial pattern with casting and forging as the leading industry and equipment manufacturing as the characteristic industry.

 

In May of this year, the Chenzhou modern equipment industry investment promotion conference as well as production and demand matchmaking conference was held in Jiahe County, with CNC machine tools, milling machines and other equipment manufacturing products on display. A production and sales strategic 

contract of 6.12 billion yuan was reached. Six investment cooperation projects were signed on the site, with an amount of 2.99 billion yuan. 100 scientific research achievements from universities were connected.

 

In July of this year, the excellent casting products produced by Hunan Xinquan Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiahe Zhongyida Casting Co., Ltd. won the gold medal at the China International Foundry Expo in Shanghai, further enhancing the reputation of Jiahe County as a “Casting Town in China”. 

 

At present, the county has nearly 10,000 skilled casting technicians, and can produce products such as gray iron castings, ductile iron castings, steel castings, etc.

 

There are more than 1 million tons of castings annually, accounting for about 30% of Hunan’s casting output, including 150 million pieces of precision hardware, with an output value of nearly 10 billion yuan.

 

It is necessary to create a first-class business environment to develop new-quality productivity. Since the beginning of this year, Jiahe County has increased efforts to attract investment, advance the upgrading of enterprises, and promote new industrialization.

 

In the first three quarters, 27 industrial projects settled in the county, ranking first in Chenzhou City in terms of industrial fixed investment growth rate and industrial technological transformation investment growth rate. Seven enterprises were approved as provincial-level specialized, refined, characteristic and innovative “little giant” enterprises.

 

Jiahe Hongsheng Foundry Industry Internet Platform was listed among the 100 landmark projects of “new digital infrastructure” in Hunan. The 79,000-square meter standard factory building in the Longxing Industrial Park was put into use, and 7 casting enterprises settled in the park.

 

As of now, there are a total of 143 industrial enterprises above designated size in Jiahe County, including 106 enterprises in casting, forging, and mechanical equipment, with an industrial agglomeration rate of 90%.
