It was learned from Chenzhou Finance Bureau that the third round of Hunan provincial key county list of special county economy was released recently. Linwu county was selected as the key county of special agricultural products processing industry, and Zixing, Rucheng & Yizhang were jointly selected as key counties of cultural tourism industry. All the key counties would be subsidized with no less than 180million yuan financial funds in three years.

It was learned that there are 15 leading enterprises of agricultural industrialization available in Linwu county currently, 2 of which are national level. Linwu duck was protected under national geographical indication product. If divided by the industries, there are 289 bases covered with 0.4million mu areas for the agricultural products processing.

Zixing city, Yizhang county and Rucheng county took the best advantages of their resources and location to improve cultural tourism industry in recent years and were approved as Hunan provincial strong tourism counties (cities) successively. In order to promote the construction of core tourism product of Chenzhou city- Zixing Dongjiang Lake landscape, Yizhang Mount Mang National Forest Park and Rucheng Reshui hot spring which was known as “one mountain, one lake and one hot spring”, accelerate the construction of golden tourism route of Zixing, Yizhang and Rucheng and promote their development of integration, Chenzhou city submitted the application of the three counties jointly.

From 2013, Hunan province placed special attention on supporting three special industries as agricultural products processing industry, special manufacturing industry and cultural tourism industry. 3 key counties would be selected out from each special industry and would be granted with no less than 300million yuan (60million yuan for the second round) in three years. Yongxing county of Chenzhou city was selected as a key county of special manufacturing industry in the first round of the selection of Hunan provincial key county of special county economy.
