At the construction site of lithium battery new energy project of the Hunan Anneng Ganfeng New Materials Co., Ltd., more than 40 vehicles responsible for excavation, leveling, and earthwork transportation are shuttling back and forth. In recent days, the construction workers have been working day and night in order to put the project into early production.

 

 

Li Honglin, an engineering survey technician for the lithium battery new energy project of Hunan Anneng Ganfeng New Materials Co., Ltd., introduced that under normal circumstances, they get off work at 6 or 7 pm in the afternoon. But now they usually work overtime until 9 pm or 10 pm, and sometimes even until 11 pm or 12 pm.

 

The lithium battery new energy project of Hunan Anneng Ganfeng New Materials is engaged in the lithium carbonate processing, which is a part of the whole industrial chain project of lithium containing polymetallic ore mining and selection, lithium carbonate, and lithium battery production signed between Linwu County and Shanghai Anneng Industrial Construction Mining Group. The investment for the first phase is 2.5 billion yuan, which started construction at the end of March this year and is expected to be put into operation this year.

 

 

In order to seize the window period for the development of lithium new energy, Linwu County has accelerated the construction of lithium new energy whole industry chain development projects. At present, the land approval procedures for the lithium-ion battery new energy and lithium carbonate processing projects are underway. 

 

The land leveling and geological exploration for the lithium carbonate processing and construction projects of Anneng Ganfeng and Anzhong Group have been basically completed, and the factories will be built and officially put into operation within this year. By then, Linwu County will accommodate all enterprises involved in lithium mining, processing, and lithium battery production. The whole lithium battery industry chain will be preliminarily formed in Linwu, laying a solid foundation for the “Battery Industry Capital”.
