On July 3, Hunan Anneng Future Energy Technology Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for its battery production project, marking remarkable progress in the development of a complete lithium battery industry chain in Linwu County, Chenzhou City. This achievement lays a solid foundation for making Linwu County the capital of battery industry in China.
Located in the Linwu County High-tech Industrial Development Zone, the battery production project of Hunan Anneng Future Energy Technology spans an area of over 500 mu (about 33.33hectares) with a total investment of 10 billion yuan.
The project plans to achieve an annual production capacity of 20 GWh of battery cells and 10 GWh of battery packs. It will be constructed in three phases and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. By then, over 2,000 job opportunities will be provided, effectively addressing the employment requirements of both technical workers and general laborers.
Liu Yang, Party secretary of Linwu County, expressed his hope that the company can go all out to speed up the project construction for its early operation while prioritizing safety and quality.
He also required that all levels and departments in the county should make coordinated efforts to guarantee factors, optimize services, and provide robust support for the project’s construction.
What’s more, Inspection and supervision must be strengthened to ensure safety production. In addition, efforts should be made to improve the business environment and attract more high-quality enterprises and projects to settle and invest in Linwu County.
