When reporters arrived at the flue-cured tobacco plat of Gaoshan village, Bolin town, Yongxing county, the tobacco farmers were busy with the baking work. He Qinjun- Head of Bolin Tobacco Station said to the reporters that though suffered with the continuous heavy rain, all 8300mu tobacco leaves were well protected without any damage, and now they were proceeded to the baking stage.

In order to well handle the baking work, the county organized some cadres, tobacco stations and technicians of power supply station to check the electricity supply devices of the curing barns. It also worked together with Chendian International Yongxing Branch to maintain the power supply lines and transformers. At the meantime, the allocation plan with specified dispatch of management and protection staffs was figured out as well. Emergency team was set up to handle the power failure accident. 40 generator sets were fixed. Efficient oils were prepared for emergency use.

It was introduced that all the tobacco would be placed to baking step this week. It was estimated the total amount would be about 20,000 loads.
