2012 China Hunan International Tourism Opening Ceremony & the 2nd China Chenzhou International Leisure Tourism Festival will be started in one week. How about the preparation work for the main venue –Zixing city of this festival? In order to get a good understanding of the great changes occurring to Zixing city, the journalists has paid a visit to Zixing city recently.

Along with the approaching of the tourism festival, Zixing city shows to the public a happy and clean image . Once arriving in Zixing city, visitors will be attracted by huge billboards with various festival ads, and feel comfortable with the new and clean pitch roads, decorated streets, convenient bus stops, etc..

1.6 kms Liyujiang section of Zixing road presents to visitors a totally new image after its completion of the upgrading project. Along the Dongjiang lake cultural tourism street, some pseudo-classic buildings stand on the two sides decorated with water and different shapes stones. Dongjiang Lake stone exhibition hall, photography art exhibition hall and Xiaoxiang cultural exhibition hall are the three halls showing the splendid and natural human resources of Hunan province and Dongjiang Lake on different aspects. Not only can visitors go shopping there, but they can enjoy the exhibitions as well.

Visitors were busy taking photos in the west bank of small Dongjiang river viewing path when the journalists arrived there. Till now, the main project for the path has been fulfilled and visitors can experience the best visual effect by standing on it, which enriches the cultural connotation of Dongjiang Lake as well as attracts more visitors to see “fogging small on Dongjiang river”.

Following the general requirement of the festival with more characteristics, highlights, and efficiencies, Chenzhou government has tired best to detail the arrangements and fine preparation in the past months with 1.1 billion yuan investment. As to 24 key tourism projects- Dongjiang lake cultural tourism street, upgrading projects for dam dock of Dongjiang, core sceneries of small Dongjiang river, and main roads, greening for center city, decoration for buildings along Zixing road, etc., all have been accomplished or on the final stage till now.
