It was learned from Chenzhou Development and Reform Commission that in order to promote the heavy metal pollution renovation work of Xiangjiang River, Hunan Development and Reform Commission released No. 678 file on heavy metal pollution renovation projects of Xiangjiang River of 2014 central government investment plan in budget (the forth batch) recently. According to the file, 4 projects accounting for 252million yuan investment from Chenzhou city were enrolled in the list, covering 2/3 of the total amount of Hunan province.

It was introduced that the 4 projects were as follow: the first batch of comprehensive renovation of Xihe river heavy metal pollution in Suxian district, obtaining 84million yuan investment; the second phase of Linwu Sanshiliuwan area’s comprehensive renovation of heavy metal pollution- Nanjiling and Sanshiliuwanchong, obtaining 62.50million yuan investment; comprehensive renovation project for the residue of arsenious in Furong Mine of Beihu district, obtaining 55million yuan investment; and dispose project for the tailings in upstream of Chenzhou Donghe River which was handled out by Hunan Shizhuyuan Non-ferrous Metal Co., Ltd., obtaining 50.50million yuan investment.
