The organizing committee of third China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Show presented a notification for general information of the preparation of the show on April 13, 2015. According to the notification, all preparation work have been proceeded to the sprints, and the core work as investment attraction, exhibits arrangement, events organization, and etc. were getting closer to the last stage.

Concerned for the investment attraction, the 1600 stands set on Chenzhou International Exhibition & Convention Center were almost booked out. 85 foreign exhibitors from 38 countries as America, India, and etc. booked 300 stands and other domestic exhibitors shared the rest over 1000 stands. Besides the ordinary rare and precious mineral and gems, some other national level treasures as bloodstone, natural gold of America, and etc. would be exhibited there as well.

Concerned for the arrangement of exhibition, upgrading and greening work for the exterior part of the main exhibition hall- Chenzhou International Exhibition & Convention Center have been almost finished and internal control, security and other systems have been facilitated and were being placed to trial operation. Concerned for the preparation of logistics, cargo lifts, service board, signs, catering areas, and etc. have been well prepared. Now, Chenzhou International Exhibition & Convention Center is just waiting for the exhibitors. Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Zone Non-ferrous Metals Museum, Shizuyuan National Mine Park Museum and Chenzhou Geological Resource Museum which are the sub-halls of the mineral show can finish the interior decoration in the end of this April and open to the public in early of this May.

Concerned for events organization, invitation work for guests and experts of summit forum and science lecture and organization work for activity process have been completed. A batch of top level geological experts from Germany, America, Australia and China, famous collectors of mineral and gems, and senior managers of transnational mineral and gem enterprises would gather in Chenzhou city then. It was introduced that some science activities of mineral crystals would be held for students by the mineral show.

Concerned for the propaganda work, a batch of famous blogs paid great attention on the mineral show and issued over 1100 news (pictures) there. Oversea edition of People’s Daily, China Daily, China News Service, France Europe Times, HK Wen Wei Po and other domestic and foreign media dispatched some reporters to deliver follow-up reports of the mineral show.

Concerned for the security work, the general plan for the security of the mineral show has been figured out. The investigation team of Chenzhou city was dispatched to Changsha, Shenzhen and some other big cities to study more advanced experience of internal expos. An on-site drill was planned to be held in middle of this May.
