It was learned from the office of Chenzhou Government that five areas will be developed by Chenzhou City Construction and Investment Management Center. The Five areas are Chenzhou Baishui area, Boliping area, South Hunan International Logistic Park area, Tangwei area and area of west Xiamei Bridge.

In 2012, the management center undertook 33 projects with 4.54 billion yuan. “1134 project” in the five areas will be focused on, which means one river- Chenjiang river's comprehensive treatment; one building- city investment building; three venues- Chenzhou international convention and exhibition center, stadium of Chenzhou Sports Center, and Drakan hot spring holiday village; four roads- Wenquan road, Boliping road, Tangwei road,and Chenjianghe river's extension sections. Among which, city investment building will start at the end of this May; Chengjianghe river extension section and Boliping road will try to be open to traffic at the end of 2012; Suxianling scenery platform and drakan hot spring holiday village will be finished, and upstream construction and midstream upgrading for Chenjianghe river comprehensive treatment will be also accomplished.

It was said by the principals of the management center that strategic cooperative partners were introduced by Hunan Kaiyuan Fund Corporation to work together on the five areas' development and some agreements had already reached after negotiation. Firstly, it will accomplish relative ancillary facilities such as road net, water net and electricity net, which will greatly help to upgrade the traffic, facilities and land value and will provide great support on Chenzhou investment center's sustainable development even the municipal debt at the municipal level.
