The project will be jointly operated by the People’s Government of Yuanjia Town and China Railway Guoxin Jiaolong Hunan Agriculture and Forestry Development and Construction Co., Ltd. It marks a substantial step forward in the deep cooperation between the two sides in the Sichuan pepper planting and processing industry chain, injecting new momentum into the development of modern agriculture in Jiahe County.

 

In recent years, Yuanjia Town has developed modern agriculture and achieved remarkable results in promoting Sichuan pepper planting with China Railway Guoxin Jiaolong Hunan Agriculture and Forestry Development and Construction Co., Ltd. Currently, more than 3,000 mu (200 hectares) of land have been transferred, with over 2,000 mu (about 133.33 hectares) for planting Sichuan peppers. 

 

The organic bio-fertilizer project will realize the resource utilization of agricultural waste. Organic fertilizer is produced with Sichuan pepper trees, straw and other raw materials. It will form an industrial chain integrating planting, processing, and cyclic utilization. It’s expected to produce 60,000 tons of organic bio-fertilizer annually, with an annual output value of 60 million yuan. Yuanjia Town will become a regional organic waste disposal and distribution center.

 

The project is scheduled to start construction in May 2025 and be completed in November, with a total investment of about 50 million yuan. After completion, it will provide employment opportunities for local villagers to help rural revitalization.
