Hunan Hualei Opto-electrical Co., Ltd. is a joint venture mainly dealing in epitaxy chip development and production. The 1st stage investment is RMB 732 million, for installing 10 GaN MOCVD 30 chip machines, 3 quaternionic MOCVD 49 chip machines and relevant chip manufacturers, forming a production capacity of 750KK/month of GaN chip and 875KK/month of quaternionic chip. The total investment is about RMB 2 billion. It’s planned to establish high-brightness LED and high-power LED packaging production lines to form monthly production capacity of 130KK/month; and develop production line of LED display, luminaries for auto, landscape, domestic lighting.
