It was learned from Chenzhou Reform and Development Commission that according to 2016 investment planning of central budget for the water pollution control of key basins issued by Hunan Development Commission, 6 projects of Chenzhou city were enrolled into the list, granting with 46.50million yuan subsidies.

4 of the 6 ones are comprehensive treatment projects for middle and downstream areas of Yangtz River, eg. Suxian Xifengdu sewage treatment project, Guiyang north sewage treatment plant, second phase of Zixing sewage treatment plant, and Rucheng Reshui sewage treatment, and the rest 2 projects are upgrading and reconstruction of first phase of Yizhang Chengguan sewage treatment plant and reconstruction of rainwater & sewage shunting pipes in old urban area, and expansion of Linwu urban pipeline network.

It was introduced that 29 key water pollution projects were submitted by Hunan province in the first half year for the application of central government’s subsidies, accounting for 273million yuan in total. 1/5 of the projects were from Chenzhou city, accounting for 17%.
