Guiyang Yunchuang E-commerce Cross-border Industrial Park is the first county-level business industrial park in Chenzhou City. It boasts multiple functions such as e-commerce product exhibition and sales, e-commerce supporting facilities and services, talent incubation and training, as well as warehousing and logistics.
The first phase of this park, covering a construction area of 5,000 square meters, involves 10 areas like exhibition and sales center, livestreaming base, and talent incubation center.
The product exhibition area on the first floor displays different kinds of featured products of Guiyang County, such as konjak toufu and oolong ginger. The second floor is under planning. Many enterprises have already been put into operation with online livestreaming sales.
“After one month of operation, the number of enterprises in the industrial park has increased from 12 to over 20,” said Zhou Chuwei, head of Guiyang Yunchuang Industrial Park.
Guiyang is the first county-level platform in Hunan province to sign strategic cooperation with Alibaba. It has been awarded a demonstration county for integrated development of the primary, secondary and tertiary industries in Hunan rural areas, a demonstration base for rural e-commerce in Hunan. And it has successfully passed the expert evaluation of a comprehensive demonstration county for introducing e-commerce into rural areas in Hunan.
There are more than 30 e-commerce professional teams in the county, and more than 50,000 e-commerce practitioners. The annual sales of local e-commerce exceeded one billion yuan, of which the retail sales of e-commerce agricultural products reached 196 million yuan last year.
Zhou Chuwei said that the local government has provided many preferential policies to encourage the development of the park. In particular, it has provided ten-year preferential tax policies for enterprises in the park.
In order to provide a better business environment for enterprises, the park attracts such organizations as certificate agency and livestreaming training institution to provide strong driving forces for the rapid development of the e-commerce industrial park.
“Guiyang Yunchuang E-commerce Cross-border Industrial Park is a vivid practice of Guiyang County to implement Hunan’s ‘Three Hubs and Four New Missions’ Strategy and Chenzhou’s ‘One Growth Pole and Six Demonstration Areas’ Strategy. It plays a very important role in promoting the high-quality development of Guiyang’s economy and rural revitalization. It’s expected that the industrial park will introduce 30 enterprises, and will realize an online transaction volume of 300 million yuan,” said Huang Shaowen, deputy director of Guiyang County Bureau of Commerce.
