Chenzhou International Land Port under construction

2022-08-16

Chenzhou International Land Port is a key project of Chenzhou, with a total planned investment of 20 billion yuan and a total planned area of 19.78 square kilometers.

There are three large areas including the core area, the expansion area and the linkage area. Aiming to develop the Hunan-Guangdong-Jiangxi open new area, accelerate Chenzhou modern trade logistics, and build an open platform for the outside world, the Chenzhou International Land Port is planned to build 7 half-train and 1 full-train railroad freight loading and unloading lines. It is expected that the rail freight volume will reach more than 10 million tons by 2024, and more than 20 million tons by 2035.

The project is under construction from July 25. It is planned to be put into use before the mid-September.

At present, 38 concrete pile foundations have been done for the No.1 Distribution Center. It is planned to complete the raft foundation by August 10. The steel structure warehouse, retaining walls and other work are underway to ensure the construction speed.

The Chenzhou International Land Port project involves more than 200 demolished households on state-owned land and collective land. In order to ensure the orderly progress of the project construction, the construction and relocation work are proceeding at the same time. Three relocation teams were set up to speed up the demolition and promote the relocation through finding practical solutions to solve problems for the masses.

It took only 66 days to sign the agreements of relocation with 102 households for the land of 66 mu (about 4.4 hectares). The three teams completed the signing of expropriation agreements for other 80 households in just 20 days.
